About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Energy Transformation Strategist to join our team at Energy Heroes. As a key member of our global growth team, you will leverage our expertise and reputation to expand our reach in the global energy sector.

Your primary responsibility will be to advise and lead client engagements, driving company sales activities focusing on energy-related digital and data transformation projects. You will oversee complex projects that address the unique challenges of the energy industry, from smart grid implementations to customer engagement platforms and sustainable energy solutions.

It is crucial to take holistic responsibility for the health and well-being of our energy clients. You will need to understand their evolving needs in a rapidly changing energy landscape, helping them navigate the challenges of decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization.

We have a long history of working with some of Europe's leading energy companies, enabling them to achieve innovation-led, sustainable and inclusive growth. Our energy clients span the entire value chain, including grid companies, generation businesses, distributors, energy traders and retailers.

As a key team member, we expect you to understand the energy sector's digital landscape and what it takes to build transformative solutions for demanding energy clients. Experience in leading complex energy-related projects is essential, either as a project lead or in a strategic advisory capacity.

Your location can be anywhere in Germany, and you can work remote-first, meaning you can work from the comfort of your own home, occasionally visit the office, and travel on-site to client locations as needed. While we are open for candidates based in the UK, it is essential that they possess fluent German language skills and have a strong network in the German energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and lead client engagements in the energy sector, with a focus on digital transformation
  • Drive company sales activities for energy-related consulting and digital transformation services
  • Develop and implement digital strategies for various types of energy companies
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives in the energy industry
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including renewables, smart grids, and energy markets
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams on complex energy projects
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in advising and leading client engagements in the energy sector, with a focus on digital transformation
  • Proven track record in business development and driving sales activities for energy-related consulting and digital transformation services
  • Deep domain knowledge of the energy industry, including trends in renewables, smart grids, and energy markets
  • Fluent in German and English, with English as a primary working language
