In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and preventative maintenance, as well as diagnosing faults and conducting necessary repairs on a fleet of buses that operate within the London area, adhering to the high standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Enhancing vehicle reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Preparing vehicles for MOTs, executing planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and performing quality checks
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults and ensuring maintenance meets Arriva's superior standards
  • Working various shift patterns to accommodate your lifestyle

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in PSV/HGV/Light vehicle maintenance and repair, with a minimum of NVQ level 2 or an equivalent international qualification
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with at least five years of experience in the repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV/Light vehicles, even if not formally qualified
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than six penalty points
  • Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical examination
