About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Your Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles and trailers
  • Ensuring our vehicles are safe, legal, and fit for duty
  • Completing service and inspection records
  • Investigating and rectifying vehicle defects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A fully skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence (class one)
  • City & Guilds parts 1 & 2 or equivalent in commercial vehicle repairs
  • Knowledge of automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components
