Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Pharmacist to become an integral part of our Pharmacy Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Adhere to and advocate for relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Conduct clinical assessments of prescriptions to verify their suitability for patients.
- Provide guidance and support to patients via phone, email, or in-person consultations.
- Document interventions in the electronic patient record as mandated by SOPs.
- Comprehend pharmacovigilance regulations and contractual obligations.
- Perform final accuracy checks efficiently and accurately as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and procedural requirements within the pharmacy operation.
- Supervise the pharmacy team professionally.
- Offer mentorship and advice to pharmacy colleagues to enhance shared skills and knowledge.
- Conduct pharmacy audits as necessary.
- Assist the Pharmacy Superintendent and Pharmacy Operations Manager in developing and refining SOPs and other facets of HealthNet's Pharmacy Homecare Service.
- Foster and maintain effective working relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and nursing staff.
- Provide professional support and medication-related advice to HealthNet's nursing team.
- Fulfill any reasonable requests from authorized personnel.
Qualifications and Skills
Desirable
- Experience in a Homecare Pharmacy environment (preferred).
Essential
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with strong written and verbal skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
Educational Requirements
- Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy (preferred).
- MPharm Degree or equivalent qualification meeting the criteria for initial registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
