Pharmacovigilance Assistant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacovigilance Assistant to join our Quality Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of Pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Support Pharmacovigilance activities, including reporting to pharmaceutical company partners and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice and maintain a high level of audit readiness.
- Accurately create pharmacovigilance reports for internal and external use, meeting company requirements.
- Manage and maintain oversight of the pharmacovigilance group email inbox and send reports to customers according to agreed deadlines.
- Complete pharmacovigilance follow-up investigations and reports, and support training and briefing of pharmacovigilance SOPs and other controlled documents.
- Deliver pharmacovigilance training and support the Quality Manager in maintaining staff training records and Radar training matrix.
- Manage product quality complaints, including sending samples to pharmaceutical companies and tracking responses.
- Support the hosting of PV audits and the management of product recalls.
- Strong administrative skills and a high level of IT competence, with the ability to work confidently across the full Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- GCSE or equivalent pass in Maths and English Language.
- Previous experience of working in NHS, Pharmacy homecare, or another pharmacy setting, with knowledge of GxP and operating within a Quality Management System.
- Insight and understanding of the financial and regulatory aspects of operating a pharmacy business.
