We are seeking a Pharmacist Leader to join our Pharmacy Operations Team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and safety in our pharmacy operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with our team and external partners.

Main Responsibilities

• To undertake the role of the Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring correct records are maintained and adhering to relevant SOPs and Company policy and procedure.
• To carry out clinical screening of prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness for the patient and providing counselling and advice as required.
• To record interventions made on the electronic patient record, in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
• To understand pharmacovigilance regulatory and contractual requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence.
• To provide professional supervision of the pharmacy team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• To undertake pharmacy audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our services.
• To support the Pharmacy Superintendent and Pharmacy Operations Manager in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and all other aspects of HealthNet's Pharmacy Homecare Service.
• To proactively build and maintain effective working relationships with referring centre prescribers, pharmacists, and nurses, taking professional responsibility for the development and enhancement of services provided.
• To provide professional support and advice about medicines to HealthNet's nursing team, ensuring seamless care coordination.
