About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at French Selection UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate leads for potential customers in the food, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
  • Communicate with factories to obtain prices, testing, and margin agreements.
  • Drive the sales lead conversion process into prospects and potential customers.
  • Liaise with the sales team to ensure continuous sales support.
  • Coordinate with product managers for customer visits when required.
  • Analyze data related to targeted products and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Set sales forecasts and annual budgets in coordination with senior sales managers.
  • Follow up on unmet sales forecasts in coordination with senior sales managers.
  • Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken).
  • Additional European languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian - advantageous.
  • Experience in the sales of flexible packaging products for the food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and hygiene sectors.
  • Self-driven, with the self-initiative to grow sales of packaging products in the region.
  • Team player, dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to changes.
  • Happy to travel in the UK and Ireland on a weekly basis (50% time).
