About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse leader to join our Medical Short Stay Unit (MSSU) team at Alexandra Hospital. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prioritize care in a busy environment
  • Supervise junior staff and teach qualified and unqualified staff as appropriate
  • Achieve and maintain competence in identified mandatory and statutory training, develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge
Person Specification
  • Experience as a Band 5 or above
  • Ward/departmental based training
  • Managing clinical risks and incidents at ward level
