Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland Careers. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals, promoting their autonomy and dignity.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support is provided.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience in care is required, as you will receive comprehensive training and support from our award-winning learning and development team.
  • A driving license is essential, as you will be required to transport service users.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleepovers, to ensure 24-hour support is provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
