Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality educational programs for medical students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for medical students, including lectures, workshops, and clinical teaching sessions.
  • Collaborate with medical education managers and administrators to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
  • Contribute to the development of educational materials, including website content, interactive platforms, and e-learning modules.
  • Evaluate and improve educational programs to ensure they meet the needs of medical students.
  • Support and develop collaborations in education with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a current license to practice.
  • Experience practicing as a psychiatrist for more than 3 years.
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate healthcare students.
  • Experience delivering and organizing teaching sessions.
  • Previous experience in medical education.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Working towards a higher professional qualification in Medical Education.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of career pathways in medical education.
  • Good general knowledge/broad interest in academic medicine.
  • Research experience.
Working Environment

The post holder will be expected to deliver teaching to medical students in person at various locations within Kent. The post holder may be required to deliver material virtually where face-to-face teaching is not viable.
