Job Title: Clinical Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Teacher to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Clinical Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to medical students, contributing to the development and delivery of our undergraduate medical education program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver teaching sessions to medical students, including lectures, small group work, and clinical skills training.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs, including curriculum design, teaching materials, and assessment.
  • Work closely with the Medical Education team to ensure that teaching is aligned with the Trust's educational goals and objectives.
  • Provide feedback and support to medical students, including formative and summative assessment.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities to ensure that teaching is of high quality and meets the needs of medical students.
Requirements:
  • Experience practicing as a psychiatrist for more than 3 years.
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate healthcare students.
  • Experience delivering and organizing teaching sessions.
  • Previous experience in medical education.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to motivate high performance in others.
  • Approachable and friendly. Tolerant and empathetic.
  • Proven ability to work to and meet deadlines.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
