Clinical Educator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to medical students, ensuring they receive the best possible preparation for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver educational programs for medical students, including lectures, workshops, and clinical placements.
- Collaborate with medical education managers and administrators to ensure effective program delivery.
- Evaluate and improve educational programs to ensure they meet the needs of medical students and the Trust.
- Support and develop collaborations in education with internal and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of educational materials, including website content, interactive platforms, e-learning modules, and written materials.
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a current license to practice.
- Experience practicing as a psychiatrist for more than 3 years.
- Experience in teaching undergraduate healthcare students.
- Experience delivering and organizing teaching sessions.
- Previous experience in medical education.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- MRCPsych or equivalent.
- Working towards a higher professional qualification in Medical Education.
- Research experience.
- Demonstrates knowledge of career pathways in medical education.
