Position Overview
The organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance their Information Security team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of the organization’s digital assets and supporting employees in maintaining secure work practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, requests, and events to effectively manage threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, thereby safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
- Assess and prioritize security incidents in accordance with established protocols.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, document findings, and pursue resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues following agreed-upon procedures.
- Assist in recovery efforts post-incident resolution.
- Document and formally close resolved security incidents as per established guidelines.
- Oversee and manage security software tools, including CrowdStrike, Appcheck, and Active Directory.
- Compile and manage Information Security reports from various platforms such as CrowdStrike and Mimecast.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in intrusion prevention and incident response. Strong analytical skills, coupled with effective communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential.
Hands-on experience with the following technologies is highly desirable:
- Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS & IPS)
- Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Azure Conditional Access Policies
- CrowdStrike Falcon
- Microsoft Security Tools including Defender and Security Center
- Endpoint Protection Solutions
- Email Security Measures
- Vulnerability Management Tools
- Web Application Firewalls
- Web Filtering Technologies
- Network Security Solutions
- Azure Cloud Security Services, Office 365, and Intune
- Website Security Protocols
- Mobile Device Management Solutions
