Position Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance our client's Information Security team. As the team expands, they are dedicated to safeguarding the organization and ensuring the security of their personnel in their roles. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented security analyst responsible for overseeing the security systems within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, requests, and events to effectively manage threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, minimizing the impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
- Prioritize and diagnose security incidents in accordance with established procedures.
- Investigate the root causes of incidents, document findings, and pursue resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved incidents as per agreed protocols.
- Facilitate recovery processes following the resolution of incidents.
- Document and finalize resolved security incidents according to established procedures.
- Manage and monitor security software solutions, including CrowdStrike, Appcheck, and Active Directory.
- Oversee information security reports from various platforms, including CrowdStrike and Mimecast.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, including intrusion prevention and incident response. Strong analytical skills, along with effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, are essential. Hands-on experience with the following technologies is required:
