About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Analyst to join our team at The People Network. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing security-related data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security-related data from various sources, including network logs, system logs, and threat intelligence feeds.
  • Identify and escalate potential security threats to the incident response team.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of security awareness training programs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a SOC or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Sentinel or Splunk SIEM.
  • Familiarity with the Mitre Att&ck Framework.
  • Expertise in log analysis and intrusion detection.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eSC level clearance.
  • Basic understanding of networking and security tools.
