Role Overview
The organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance their Information Security team. This expanding team is dedicated to safeguarding the organization and ensuring that employees maintain a secure working environment.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented security analyst responsible for overseeing the security frameworks within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and responding to security incidents, requests, and events to mitigate threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches, thereby protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
- Assessing and prioritizing security incidents based on established protocols.
- Investigating incident causes, documenting findings, and pursuing resolutions.
- Escalating unresolved incidents in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Facilitating recovery processes following incident resolution.
- Documenting and finalizing resolved security incidents per established protocols.
- Overseeing and managing security software tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Appcheck, Active Directory).
- Generating and managing Information Security reports (e.g., CrowdStrike, Mimecast, business-related).
Qualifications for Success
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, including intrusion prevention and incident response. Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, are essential.
Hands-on operational experience with some of the following technologies is required:
- Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW)
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) & Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- Active Directory and Group Policies
- Azure Conditional Access Policies
- CrowdStrike Falcon
- Microsoft Security Tools - Defender, Security Center
