Field Service Engineer - Guildford Area - £25,000 + Van, Fuel Card & Paid Overtime

About Lorien

Lorien is partnering with a UK-based software development company to provide technical support to their clients in the education sector.

The Role

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical faults, perform break-fix tasks, and respond to client calls daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to clients in the education sector
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults in a field-based environment
  • Perform break-fix tasks and respond to client calls daily
  • Assist with hardware and software issues

Requirements

  • Motivation and desire to work in a field-based role
  • General knowledge of IT systems (Software Installs, Network Connectivity)
  • Valid driving license
  • Some knowledge of payment devices (EPOS/POS, etc.) is advantageous
  • Interest in technology and computer software, especially in an education context or as a personal interest
  • Excellent communication skills
