About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopper Marketing Executive to join our team at Tarsh & Partners Marketing Recruitment. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative in-store marketing campaigns to drive engagement and sales for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement In-Store Marketing Strategies: Assist in creating impactful shopper activation plans to drive engagement in-store for major grocery accounts.
  • Manage Retailer Accounts and Channels: Manage smaller retailer accounts and channels, including Convenience and the Ireland business. Work with customers and deliver evaluations and reporting for each account.
  • Oversee Point of Sale and Display Equipment: Oversee temporary and permanent POS and display equipment to empower Field Sales teams and enhance brand presence in-store.
  • Collaborate on Strategic Projects: Collaborate on strategic projects aimed at driving in-store activation and standout for the brand.
  • Support Team with Admin and Budget Management: Support the team with admin and budget management, including tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in Sales and Marketing Forums: Actively participate in sales, marketing forums, trade shows, and sampling events as needed.
  • Engage with Creative Agencies and Suppliers: Engage with creative agencies and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery while aligning closely with key account stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Robust Marketing Experience: Robust shopper, customer, trade or brand marketing experience gained in a leading FMCG environment, ideally with experience in eCommerce shopper campaigns too.
  • Understanding of the Shopper Journey: Understanding of the full shopper Journey touchpoints.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
  • Commercial Savvy: Commercial savvy and a good grasp of the grocery retail environment.
  • Excellent Communication and Project Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management/organisational skills.
  • Strong Team Player: Strong team player with a can-do attitude and drive for achievement.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proactive Learner: A proactive learner with the ability to build relationships and promote a shopper-first approach across the business.
