About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Financial Controller to join our team at Ecruit. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our business, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain internal controls.
  • Forecast and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate funding for operations and investments.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and track budgets, ensuring financial goals and targets are adhered to.
  • Coordinate and liaise with regulatory bodies as required.

Requirements

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, and preferably a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Substantial experience using SAGE.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial management best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience within a fast-moving environment is a benefit.
  • Experience in a clothing environment would be a plus.
