We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team at Permanent Futures. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to a portfolio of reputable clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Work closely with the Account Coordinator to handle customer requests, including maintaining stock sheets, undertaking/managing stock counts, and organizing item set-ups, BOMs, routes, work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders.
- Manage your own workload while supporting the Account Coordinator and other team members as needed.
- Maintain good internal communication channels with all departments, including production, commercial, quality, warehouse, and finance, to ensure production runs smoothly and potential pitfalls are identified early and mitigated.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a customer service or client management focused role.
- The ability to lead a team while managing your own workload.
- Experience of working alongside a fast-paced production environment would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft office packages, especially Excel.
- Proficient understanding of SAP and SAGE preferred.
- Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a mechanical engineering focused manufacturing environment.
