About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Individual Giving Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy to drive income growth and increase donor recruitment and retention.
  • Lead a dedicated team to deliver innovative and creative appeals, campaigns, and fundraising activities to engage and inspire individual donors.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising department to achieve overall fundraising objectives and contribute to the growth of individual giving as a key income stream for Birmingham Hospice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, supporters, and stakeholders to ensure a gold standard supporter journey and maximize income from individual gifts, campaigns, and appeals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track progress and inform strategic decision-making.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a focused and driven individual with a passion for fundraising and hospice care. You will have a proven track record of success in individual giving, with experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies, leading teams, and building strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.

You will be a creative and innovative thinker, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving objectives.
