Job Description

**Compliance Officer Role at Zen Fundraising**

Zen Fundraising is a family-run business that operates with a strong commitment to ethical principles. We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team in Birmingham, UK.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure that our fundraising operations maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethics.
  • Assess the quality of work carried out by our fundraising teams through in-field observation, mystery shopping, welcome call evaluation, door-to-door shadowing, and KPI reports.
  • Evaluate leaders' and managers' adherence to our training systems.
  • Investigate complaints, attend disciplinary meetings, and evaluate the work of our tele-fundraisers through call listening.
  • Build good working relationships with all those involved in the programme.
  • Observe and adhere to our policies and procedures, as well as the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct, Fundraising Promise, and Code of Practice for Street, Door-to-Door, and Private Site Fundraising.
  • Be a problem solver, able to prioritize, manage risks, and improve performance.
  • Be computer literate with a basic understanding of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ideally, have a driver's license and access to a car.

**Development and Training:**

  • The Compliance Officer will have support from the GMCC and Directors to ensure that all aspects of compliance and motivation are well covered and will receive training, support, and personal development.

**Job Type:**

  • Part-time initially, with progression to full-time for the right candidate.
  • Performance bonus
