About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Estates Surveyor to join our team at Synchro. As a key member of our Estates department, you will play a crucial role in the management of our property portfolio, focusing on telecoms sites.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Lease Management**: Assist in the negotiation, renewal, and management of leases and property agreements for telecoms sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • **Data Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the property portfolio, including lease agreements and site details, to support informed decision-making.
  • **Compliance**: Ensure telecoms sites comply with planning, environmental, and health & safety regulations, and assist in resolving any related issues that may arise.
  • **Cost Control**: Support the management of property-related costs, including negotiating terms with landlords and ensuring timely payments, to optimize budget efficiency.
  • **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as a point of contact for landlords, agents, and other stakeholders, providing clear and professional communication to maintain positive relationships.
  • **Reporting**: Prepare reports on lease renewals, site performance, and other relevant metrics for senior management, to inform strategic decision-making.
  • **Team Support**: Provide administrative and operational support to the Estates team, contributing to the department's overall success and growth.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in property management, surveying, or a related field, with a strong understanding of telecoms industry regulations and standards.
  • **Educational Qualification**: A degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field, with progress towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS) highly desirable.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with familiarity with property management software advantageous.
  • **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders, including landlords, agents, and colleagues.
  • **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in record-keeping and reporting, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records.
  • **Driving License**: A full, clean driving license is required, as site visits may be necessary.
