The Role: Digital Account Director

As a Digital Account Director within our dynamic Digital Activation team, you'll lead the digital strategy and execution for several key accounts. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of six digital specialists, collaborating as part of a Pod serving clients across diverse industries.

Your responsibilities encompass strategizing, planning, managing workloads, ensuring quality control, and acting as the primary Digital contact for all client needs, optimizations, and queries. You'll also mentor and upskill team members, onboard new talent, and champion Digital Excellence across your managed accounts.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Performance, this role offers opportunities to contribute to broader agency projects, enhancing our Agency Experience for clients while supporting initiatives like product development and new business ventures.

Your expertise will span all Digital Channels, including Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, and elements of OOH and CTV.

About You: The Ideal Candidate

  • A natural leader with the ability to adapt your management style to different individuals, guiding and mentoring Account Managers effectively.
  • Experienced in omnichannel marketing, capable of planning and executing Paid Search, Social, Display, and Video campaigns across various platforms. You're eager to learn new platforms and technologies.
  • A skilled stakeholder manager, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams, forging strong partnerships with clients and media owners to achieve the best results and challenge conventional thinking when necessary.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the full marketing funnel, with a proven track record of planning and optimizing campaigns towards KPIs from Awareness to Performance and everything in between.
  • Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the media landscape, connecting the dots and providing insightful analyses while empowering your team to do the same.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, enabling you to conduct comprehensive reviews of the team's work and lead on Responses to Briefs and Post-Campaign Analyses.
  • Process-oriented with a commitment to establishing and maintaining best practices that set the foundation for Digital Excellence across all your endeavors.
  • Commercially minded, understanding how the agency generates revenue and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and growth.
  • Creative analytical skills, allowing you to not only analyze data but also distill complex information into clear communication tailored to different audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Manage campaign budgets, track performance metrics, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic guidance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the digital marketing landscape.
