Job Description

A dynamic and ambitious specialist import company, part of the Reed group, is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a leading role in handling the company's accounts, from ledgers to reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of company accounts, including processing invoices, management accounts, and month-end reporting
  • Deal with multiple entities and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an SME environment, preferably in an import company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and vlookups
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
