We are currently seeking an Export Control Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to our multi-site UK export licensing requirements. This role will involve offering expert guidance on relevant export control laws and regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
As the subject matter expert in export control, you will:
- Act as the primary contact for day-to-day export control inquiries and provide timely advice.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for export control compliance.
- Prepare and submit applications for new UK export licenses.
- Deliver accurate and professional guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to address licensing challenges.
- Support the development of internal policies and procedures related to export control.
What You Need to Succeed:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of five years of experience in export control licensing.
- In-depth knowledge of UK export control regulations, with familiarity in other jurisdictions being advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Experience in designing and executing export control programs within multinational organizations.
- The ability to analyze complex scenarios and provide insightful regulatory advice.
- Strategic thinking to develop and implement compliance processes.
