About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Estates and Campus Services department as a Building Services and Maintenance Engineer Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, working with a team of experienced professionals to maintain and improve our facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of building services, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building services.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new building services equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of building services systems and technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of building services systems and technologies.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
