We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Ltd. As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' building maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Predictive and Reactive Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct Electrical Fault-Finding and repair or replace faulty equipment as needed
- Operate and maintain Three Phase Power systems, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Manage HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Generators, UPS Systems, Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, Pumps, and Water Treatment systems
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance activities
- Respond to client needs and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- City and Guilds qualified in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering or any industry-recognised qualification (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)
- Apprentice-trained and 18th edition certification desirable
- Proven experience in Building Services Maintenance
- Excellent client-facing skills and communication abilities
