Position Overview

As a Patient Care Assistant, your primary role will be to enhance the well-being and overall experience of patients within the healthcare facility.

Collaborating closely with fellow healthcare professionals, you will be expected to provide exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff alike.

Your responsibilities will include serving meals and beverages to patients, ensuring a hygienic work environment, and completing necessary documentation.

It is essential to adhere to established policies and procedures while consistently following food safety regulations.

There are two positions available: one consisting of 2 morning shifts and 2 afternoon shifts, and another with 15 hours dedicated to afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities

The Patient Care Assistant will operate within a flexible team framework and perform operational tasks in alignment with associated colleagues, including stepping into the role of Lead Food Services Assistant as needed.

The position may involve working in chilled and/or frozen environments for food storage and preparation.

The Assistant must be attentive to the individual dietary needs of patients and maintain confidentiality regarding their conditions.
