Richmond and Wandsworth Council is seeking an experienced Arts Programme and Partnership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Arts Service, you will be responsible for building strong local, national, and international partnerships, leading the team responsible for the creation and delivery of our arts programme, and ensuring our work is visible and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative and complex public-facing creative programmes with multiple partners.
  • Lead audience development initiatives, including diversification of audiences and strategic planning around marketing and communications.
  • Manage financial resources, including income generation from trusts and foundations, and other sources.
  • Work with senior leaders and politicians, including management of political and sensitive matters.
  • Forward plan and manage relevant risk processes for assets and services.
  • Communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively with a wide range of individuals.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing public-facing creative programmes with multiple partners.
  • Proven track record in audience development and marketing and communications.
  • Strong financial management skills, including income generation from trusts and foundations.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and politicians.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
