About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Research and Volunteering Project Officer to join our team at Wandsworth Care Alliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate community-based research projects, including collecting and reporting feedback from community members.
  • Design and lead community workshops, signposting members of the public to support, and coordinating volunteer involvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to build trust and promote our services.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, reports, and other materials to support fundraising and service development.
Requirements
  • Experience in community research, project coordination, and volunteer management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse community groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of health and social care services, community development principles, and equality and diversity practices.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for service improvement.
