Badminton Coach

**Sunday's 9am-12noon: Weekly Junior and Adult beginner lessons**
**Responsibilities**
- Plan and conduct sports coaching sessions for individuals or groups
- Teach and educate participants on the rules, techniques, and strategies of Badminton
- Develop training programs and practice schedules to enhance skills and performance
- Provide feedback and guidance to athletes to help them improve their abilities
- Monitor the progress of athletes and track their performance
- Ensure the safety of participants during training sessions and competitions
- Collaborate with other coaches, staff, and parents to create a positive and supportive environment
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in sports coaching or playing the sport at a competitive level
- Strong knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals of different skill levels
- Organisational skills to plan and manage coaching sessions, events, and schedules
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain one
- Valid driver's license (not essential)
**Qualifications**:
- Certified Level 2 badminton coach with a strong understanding of the game's technical and strategic aspects.
- Experience in coaching players of varying ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with club members and parents.
- Passion for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle through badminton.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
