Our Non-Food Division in Great Britain is seeking a German-speaking Procurement Specialist to enhance our Head Office team. The diverse offerings of our Non-Food range are pivotal to our customers' loyalty, ensuring that each week brings new experiences. In this role, you will oversee the management of our Non-Food product assortment, which is crucial for the success of Lidl GB.

To excel in this position, a genuine enthusiasm for retail and products is essential, along with a proactive attitude to consistently deliver results in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product and packaging details from German to English
  • Conduct market and commercial analyses to inform Non-Food purchasing and ordering strategies, including market trends and range planning
  • Participate in Trade Fairs (both digitally and occasionally in person) to procure quarterly Non-Food volumes
  • Set retail pricing to maintain a competitive edge, safeguard margins, and ensure alignment with key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders in both English and German to promote excellent cooperation and a customer-focused approach

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in German is a must
  • Strong multitasking abilities with exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies
  • Robust numerical skills with the capability to interpret and analyze complex data
  • A creative and forward-thinking commercial professional who can swiftly adapt to a high-pressure business environment and fluctuating market conditions
  • A valid driving license is preferred
