About the Role

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Specials Administrator. As a key member of our promotions team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of promotional offers and working closely with suppliers to deliver a real impact to each of our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute weekly promotional offers, working closely with suppliers to confirm promotions.
  • Support the Food Specials team with planning, managing, and executing Limited Offer promotions.
  • Work cross-functionally with various Lidl departments, including Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, as well as international counterparts.
  • Manage sample requests from suppliers, taking pictures, recording product information, and handing over to relevant departments.
  • Perform manual handling of parcels.
  • Analyze sales data and input data into our systems.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding advertising and artwork, ensuring items are advertised correctly.
  • Conduct independent research to support future innovation.
  • Solve problems and improve efficiencies.
  • Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrator support.

Requirements

  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Pro-active and self-starter, approaching problems logically and calmly.
  • Positive can-do attitude with eagerness to learn.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence and composure to deal with internal departments, senior management, and external partners.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • An engaged team player.
  • German language is highly desirable, but not essential.
