Job Summary

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Specials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Food Specials team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of promotional offers and working closely with suppliers to confirm promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly promotional offers and work with suppliers to confirm promotions
  • Support the Food Specials team with planning, managing, and executing Limited Offer promotions
  • Work cross-functionally with various Lidl departments, including Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising
  • Manage sample requests from suppliers, take product pictures, and record product information
  • Perform manual handling of parcels
  • Prepare and analyze sales data and input data
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding advertising and artwork
  • Conduct independent research to support future innovation
  • Solve problems and improve efficiencies
  • Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Requirements

  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active and self-starter, approaching problems logically and calmly
  • Positive can-do attitude with eagerness to learn
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence and composure to deal with internal departments, senior management, and external partners
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Engaged team player
