About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Consultant to join our Non Food team at Lidl GB. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for the management of our Non Food product portfolio, which plays a crucial role in the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform market and commercial analysis to inform our Non Food purchasing and ordering strategies, including market observation, trend analysis, and range planning.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure the performance of our Non Food team, and provide regular reporting to Director and Board Director levels.
  • Attend quarterly Ausmusterung meetings to order Non Food volumes and ensure product availability for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Controlling Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with international stakeholders, including those in English and German, to ensure excellent cooperation and customer-focused mindset.

Requirements

  • A passion for retail and products, with a deep interest in the non-food market.
  • A drive to make the category the most successful it can be through commercial thinking and initiative.
  • Self-starter with the ability to shape their own role and contribute to the growth of our business.
  • Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  • Fluency in German is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working within a commercial role, with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
