About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Consultant to join our Non Food Department in Lidl GB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of our Non Food product portfolio, which plays a crucial role in the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform market and commercial analysis to inform Non Food purchasing and ordering strategies, including market observation, trend analysis, and range planning.
- Develop and implement KPIs for the Non Food team, ensuring alignment with Director and Board Director level objectives.
- Attend quarterly Ausmusterung meetings to order Non Food volumes, ensuring timely and accurate product availability for customers.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain colleagues to optimize product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Work closely with Controlling Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with international stakeholders, including those in English and German, to ensure seamless cooperation and customer-focused mindset.
Requirements
- Passion for retail and products, with a deep interest in the non-food market.
- Drive to make the category successful through commercial thinking and initiative.
- Self-starter with the ability to shape their own role and contribute to the team's success.
- Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Intermediate level Excel skills, with fluency in German desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a commercial role, with a confident and resilient approach to working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong numerical skills, with ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
- Creative and forward-thinking commercial operator, able to adapt to our fast-paced business environment and uncertain market conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to make important decisions and cope with demanding targets and tight deadlines.
- Driving license.
