About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Consultant to join our Non Food Department at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of our Non Food product portfolio, which has strategic importance to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform market and commercial analysis to inform Non Food purchasing and ordering strategies, including market observation, trend analysis, and range planning.
- Develop and implement KPIs for the Non Food team, ensuring alignment with Director and Board Director level objectives.
- Attend quarterly Ausmusterung meetings to order Non Food volumes and ensure product availability for customers.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure product availability and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Work with international stakeholders to ensure excellent cooperation and customer-focused mindset.
Requirements
- Passion for retail and products, with a deep interest in the non-food market.
- Drive to make the category successful through commercial thinking and initiative.
- Self-starter with the ability to shape their own role.
- Strong multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Intermediate level Excel skills.
- Fluency in German is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a commercial role.
- Confident and resilient approach, capable of working closely with senior levels of the business.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
- Creative and forward-thinking commercial operator, able to adapt to a high-pressure business environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make important decisions and cope with demanding targets and tight deadlines.
