Job Summary

The Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Enforcement Market Oversight team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the team and perform the role of administrator and coordinator for knowledge sharing groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing multiple mailboxes and coordinating and publishing monthly knowledge communications.
  • Assist in the delivery of core technical training to investigators by arranging internal SMEs, assessors, and course participants.
  • Manage and maintain records, diaries, and other administrative tasks in Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Provide support to the Head of Department and other team members as required.
  • Coordinate and participate in specific tasks with the Head of Department and other team members.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a corporate environment with experience of Knowledge and Learning and Operations tasks.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work in a structured way to a high standard against tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to get involved in the varied workstreams of the whole team if required.
  • Strong relationship skills and a strong team player.
  • Able to cope with and quickly resolve a range of administrative issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly developed organizational and administrative skills.
