Governance and Risk Management Associate
Location: Flexible across various offices
Role Overview:
The Governance and Risk Management Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks. This position involves collaborating with various teams to maintain alignment with the overarching governance structures and ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Customer Committees to ensure adherence to the Product Governance Framework, fostering understanding and engagement among team members.
- Propel engagement in Governance, Risk, and Compliance processes to keep the team ahead of critical deadlines.
- Cultivate a positive culture where Governance, Risk, and Compliance are integral to daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, and Governance teams to ensure strong relationships and alignment.
- Promote a risk management culture within the Customer team to effectively manage risks and controls.
- Assist in the oversight of Third Parties essential to strategic objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, or Governance within the Retail Banking sector, preferably in the near/subprime market.
- Proven track record in monitoring Governance, Risk, and Compliance actions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience in guiding product development while balancing compliance and regulatory needs with customer-centric objectives.
- Ability to simplify complex technical details into clear, engaging information.
