Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwife to lead our Triage Department and Day Assessment Unit in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to pregnant women and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to midwifery, nursing, and support staff to maximize job satisfaction and optimize team performance.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maternity services, ensuring the delivery of high-caliber care and efficient use of resources.
  • Lead on the implementation of audit and data collection, engaging with the Ambulatory Care Forums and contributing to the development of pathways.
  • Manage staff contracted hours, sickness, absence, and training through electronic rostering systems, ensuring compliance with trust policies.
  • Promote a clean and safe environment for staff, service users, and visitors by ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and protocols.
