Key Responsibilities
- Service Management
- Manage and develop our services to ensure they meet the needs of our customers
- Recruit, develop, and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services
- Develop and implement effective staff rotas to ensure our services are delivered efficiently and effectively
- Quality Assurance
- Promote best practice to ensure our services are delivered to a high standard
- Ensure that our services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
- Customer Relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and external agencies to ensure our services meet their needs
- Liaise with statutory and voluntary partners to ensure our services are delivered effectively
- Operational Management
- Support the Local Service Manager in managing the void process on any empty properties
- Ensure that our services are delivered in a fully compliant way
Requirements
- Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience gained within a social care environment
- Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Skills
- Compassionate, understanding, and hard working with a hands-on approach to help achieve supportive outcomes
- Good written and strong communication skills
- Experience working with Mental Health
- Prior knowledge of support planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding
- Previous experience working under challenging circumstances
- Confident user of IT systems
