Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Pediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible working hours, ensuring a work-life balance without weekend commitments. Our Outpatient Department caters to a diverse range of pediatric specialties, including but not limited to allergy assessments, asthma management, general pediatrics, rheumatology, endocrinology, and urology surgical consultations.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed nurse, eager to thrive in an outpatient environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to enhance specialized skills while playing a pivotal role in the senior nursing team, delivering high-quality, family-centered care. The successful applicant will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise to ensure the highest standard of personalized patient care. A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and enhancing our pre-assessment services.
  • Collaborating with the outpatient team to conduct various clinics, including allergy, infectious disease, and pre-assessment clinics.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team in response to the evolving needs of our services.
  • Actively participating in the management of the outpatient department and serving as a mentor to junior staff, including student nurses.
