The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for assessing patients' health and well-being, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health and well-being, identifying and prioritizing their needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical history, current health status, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a strong background in pediatric nursing.
- Experience working on a children's ward or in a pediatric setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain accurate records.
- Child Protection level 3 training and Paediatric Resus Training.
- EPALS or equivalent certification.
