About Our Unit
Our pediatric unit is a specialized facility that caters to a diverse range of medical needs, including but not limited to hematology, endocrinology, allergy, oncology, and rheumatology. We provide care for children undergoing various procedures, treatments, and diagnostic evaluations.
We work closely with other departments to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, including nurse-led clinics, enhancing the overall patient experience.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with a specialization in Child Health (NMC Registered).
- Proven ability to plan and deliver care for a group of patients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Commitment to family-centered care.
Desirable:
- Evidence of pursuing or having attained a degree in nursing.
- Qualifications in assessing and mentoring.
Experience
Essential:
- Experience working with acutely and chronically ill children.
Desirable:
- Broad experience in clinical pediatric nursing within a hospital context.
- Prior experience in a leadership role.
