The Advanced Health Care Assistant (AHCA) is a vital member of the Emergency Department nursing team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, effective communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver delegated work in accordance with the National Qualification Framework (NQF) at Level 3 and local policy guidelines.
- Carry out patient care duties under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to individual patient care plans and pathways.
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health or Social care.
- Experience of working in a health/social care setting for a minimum of 1 year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
