Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our team at Evolve Psychology Services. As a key member of our Evolve Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments to families and adults referred for Autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient Choice and their GP.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Autism and/or ADHD using established diagnostic tools.
- Assessments of Mental health conditions may also be required.
- Write up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, depending on experience.
- HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or NMC registered nurse or GMC registered Paediatrician.
- Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/Specialist developmental assessments with children and/or adults.
- Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism and ADHD.
- Knowledge of differential diagnosis.
- Experience in report writing and record keeping.
- Additional qualifications in relevant areas of Autism and/or ADHD.
- ADOS-2/ADI-R trained.
- QB Trained.
- Experience working with children and/or adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.
