About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the clinical delivery of care to children, young people, and their families accessing mental health interventions
  • Provide highly specialist skills and expertise in mental health, including emergency assessments and intensive interventions
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, providing consultation and teaching for other agencies and professionals
  • Provide supervision and teaching to all other disciplines within the mental health team and deputise as agreed for the team leader
