About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS team in Kirklees. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing specialist mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Providing supervision and support to junior staff members
  • Contributing to the development of new services and initiatives

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in mental health
  • Post-qualification training in identified portfolio requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
