About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other agencies to provide a comprehensive service.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children and young people.
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in mental health.
  • Post-qualification training in identified portfolio areas, such as CBT, family therapy, or counseling.
  • Experience of working with children and young people in a mental health setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
